Troubleshooting NGAL/LA23
SomoGear products have an exceptional track record of performance and reliability. However, when using any system that relies on multiple components, issues may occasionally present themselves. Below is a comprehensive source of info on troubleshooting a high majority of issues our customers may run into.
BATTERIES:
- When installing your battery for use in a SomoGear, Always ensure the positive terminal is facing the battery cap of the device.
- If your device keeps flashing under non-flash mode when activated, that indicates the battery is low and needs to be changed.
- Make sure the battery you are using is new or fully charged and not faulty.
LED INDICATOR:
- Green Light: Working correctly
- Red Light: Low battery
- Orange Light: Programming
I installed a new battery, but the device does not work.
Please make sure that the battery’s positive and negative directions are installed correctly, the battery is in good condition or not, and change to another brand new battery test again, If still doesn’t work, please take a video and send it back to the email support@somogear.com, Please also take a video of the indicator light to enable to see how the light goes.
The NGAL/LA23 mounts do not fit my rail when installed. How can I fix this?
Our mounts only fits standard MIL-STL-1913 rail as below, but you will find two black gaskets in the box you received. Attach them to the rail as shown in the picture, which should solve the problem.
Sometimes cut off during GBB recoil and would take a second or so to turn back on?
Please place an O-RING inside the battery cover and try again.
The zeroing parts without clicking?
Due to production machine limitations, is impossible to ensure that all units come with clicking. but it does not affect zeroing.
Invisible IR illuminator / IR laser dot under my NVG?
Please test in a dark environment, far away from light sources.
Unable to zero the IR illuminator/ IR laser dot?
Please turns both Elevation & Windage clockwise to the end, and then zeroing again.
